One day after the Camden County Vaccination Center administered its 10,000th dose last week, the Simons family received their vaccinations. Lawrence and his parents, Carl and Ruth, were all smiles as they were leaving Camden County College s gym on Friday.
The three of them, from South Jersey, qualified to be vaccinated together as a family after the clinic opened last month. So far, as many as 6,000 people are being vaccinated here per week and that number is quickly rising.

As of Friday, January 29, these are the latest COVID-19 figures reported by the public health departments in Camden, Miller and Morgan counties.
The last social media post from the Camden County Health Department on January 7 reported a total of 3, total cases since March. Of those cases, 453 were reported to be active and there were 65 deaths while 3,424 have recovered. The department did not report the number of people hospitalized. According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, there have been 57 cases in the past seven days with a daily average of eight and there have been 74 total deaths through January 28. A total of 22,023 tests have been issued, according to DHSS.

On day one of the webpage launch, 56,000 Delawareans requested a vaccine appointment in Group 1B.
Rattay suggested friends, family and neighbors help seniors who aren t comfortable registering for the vaccine online.
In Pennsylvania, you re asked to book a vaccine appointment using a map of providers on the state webpage.
In Philadelphia, you can only express interest online, then the Department of Health will contact you. When people are eligible, we will contact them about how to scheudle an appointment, said Dr. Thomas Farley, Philadelphia Health Commissioner.
State health officials are moving to get COVID-19 shots in arms faster with a number of large scale vaccination events over the next few days.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services says more than 45,000 vaccines are expected to be given through these new partnerships with health systems, local health departments and community health centers.

As of Thursday, 326,198 vaccinations had been given statewide. Fewer than 45,000 North Carolinians have completes the two-shot vaccination series.
New guidelines from the federal government will allow those 65 and older to begin receiving the vaccine.
“I do want to remind folks that the vaccine is limited. When you think about high-thru put events, we’re getting only about 120,000 new doses every week. It’s not going to be something that can run 24-7,” explained NCDHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen on Thursday.
