Air ambulances are unable to land at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge after its helipad was destroyed by a military aircraft. Critical patients are now having to land in Cambridge City Airport and transferred to Addenbrooke by land ambulance. They have to complete the last part of their journey to the hospital by land ambulance with critical care staff on board.
