RALEIGH, N.C., May 13, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges has adopted a comprehensive credit for prior learning policy that includes Cambridge Assessment International Education s (Cambridge International) AS- and A-Level examinations. With this recent policy change, institutions in the North Carolina Community College System will now award college credit to any student earning an E grade on Cambridge International Advanced examinations, giving AS- and A-Level courses the same college credit opportunities as other advanced courses offered to students.

With enrolments surpassing over 50,000 O and A level students across various educational institutions, Pakistan remains one of the highest revenue-making countries for Cambridge Assessment International Education the largest international examination service in the country.
In spite of that however, the Cambridge body has once again put the academic future of thousands of its associated students in jeopardy, with its decision to cancel all examinations in the region without an adequate promotion mechanism. The seemingly ad hoc decision has left the country’s O level students high and dry for a second year in a row, with little option but to waste an academic year and reappear in the October/ November session of examinations.

KUALA LUMPUR: Seven out of 12 students from Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) have placed Malaysia on the global academic map, by achieving the Top in the World Awards in the internationally recognised Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards.
The MCKL, in a statement, said that they are among students who received the prestigious awards from Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge, to acknowledge their outstanding examination performance.
It said that the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards celebrate students who have showed exemplary achievement in Cambridge International exams, which are taken by students in over 160 countries around the world.
