No services will be available on Saturday and Sunday on account of the weekend curfew. For commuters who do not use the Metro services regularly, the BMRCL will be re-introducing smart tokens in Metro stations for undertaking single journeys from July 1. The tokens are making a comeback after almost a year and will be welcomed by the commuters. Non-issuance of tokens had kept many commuters out of Metro so far. The BMRCL will continue to allow smart cards.
