A pregnant teenage girl who allegedly subjected a woman to a horrific 12-hour kidnapping has been denied bail.
Latia Henderson, 18, was upbeat as she faced Campbelltown Local Court via video link on Monday, blowing kisses to her grandparents and mother as they showed support from inside the gallery.
But the teenager, who was revealed in court to be 14 weeks pregnant, quickly broke down after the magistrate refused bail, declaring her history of violence a risk to the community.
Police allege Henderson helped her friend Kayley Lee Ketley, 24, carry out a horrific stabbing and kidnapping of Nisha Phillips, 24, at Claymore, Sydney, on February 3.

Police were told the 23-year-old man met the girl through social media before they began speaking on the phone. The man allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations and asked for intimate photos of the girl, knowing she was aged under 16. Police will allege in court he tried to sexually touch the girl when they met up in Claymore, in Sydney s southwest on February 1.
On Thursday, Detective Chief Inspector Brendan Bernie from the Hume Police District suggested the incident may have stemmed from a personal dispute.
“We are still following up inquiries . but that is what the early indications are that I have been told,” he told
Sunrise.

The public identification of Ms Ketley and Ms Henderson, who live in Macquarie Fields and Campbelltown respectively, caused shock and heated debate among their friends and family in south-west Sydney.
A woman identifying as Ms Henderson’s sister insisted that the accused was “only a baby” and urging people not to jump to conclusions.
Nisha Phillips, 24, was found in the boot of the Holden in the Southern Highlands.
