Boise man arrested in Montana, accused of sexual assault in Bozeman hotel room Jacob Scholl, The Idaho Statesman
Feb. 22 An Idaho man is in a Montana jail after he was accused of sexual assault at a hotel in Bozeman.
Police arrested Masimba Irvine Ruwo, a Boise resident, on Friday on felony charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual intercourse without consent, according to a news release from the Bozeman Police Department.
Montana police say they were notified of a sexual assault that allegedly took place inat a Bozeman hotel, where a woman was forcibly pulled into a man s room.
On Friday, Ruwo was booked into the Gallatin County Detention Center on the two felony charges, and he is being held in jail without bond.
Man Arrested For Sexual Assault at Bozeman Hotel
On Friday afternoon, the Bozeman Police Department sent out a press release regarding a sexual assault that occurred at a Bozeman area hotel earlier in the day.
The name of the hotel was not included in the press release. The suspect has been arrested and taken into custody.

During the early morning hours of February 19, 2021, investigators with the Bozeman Police Department responded to a Bozeman area hotel to investigate a sexual assault. The victim reported being forcefully pulled into a male’s hotel room and sexually assaulted. The male was later identified as Masimba Irvine Ruwo, a resident of Boise, Idaho, and was taken into custody for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual intercourse without consent, both felony offenses. A Belgrade man was charged Friday with twice violating a no contact order after repeatedly calling a woman and leaving voice mail messages for her.
According to court records, a Gallatin Countyâs sheriffâs deputy responded to a residence on Baldy Mountain Lane to investigate a report of a court order violation. A caller stated she currently had a contact order against a man, but that he was continuously calling her and had left a voice mail telling her he loved her and asking her to call him. She explained he had done the same thing the week prior, but deputies had been unable to locate him. She told the officer where the man lives and works.
