WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. - Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer released the names of the two individuals who were found dead in a wooded area near Duck Creek following a vehicle pursuit on April 16. Dan Springer identified the victims as 22-year-old Henry Porter and 28-year-old Erika Miller, both of Billings. The male bear, which weighed at least 420 pounds, was later shot and killed when it charged wildlife workers investigating the attack, officials said in a statement.
