KALAMAZOO, Mich. â Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers (KDPS) arrested Dondrell Lavance Servant, 20, in suspicion of shooting a 17-year-old multiple times.
KDPS officers found the teenager on the 1300 block of N. Rose after responding to a report of a shooting.
The teen is expected to survive, but with severe trauma.
Servant is being held on a $300,000 cash surety bond after his arrest on Sunday for multiple charges authorities report. Those with information about this incident are asked to contact KDPS at (269) 337-8139 or Silent Observer by calling (269) 343-2100.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â Two Kalamazoo residents are in custody after an assault that led to an hours long standoff around 5:32 p.m. on Saturday.
Both Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers and Metro SWAT Team were called to a house on March St. for a report of a man threatening a victim with a firearm.
The suspect barricaded himself in the house and refused to come out for the next 6 hours, after which he surrendered to police.
That first suspect, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on weapon charges.

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A suspect police believe robbed a store on South Westnedge Tuesday evening is now in custody.
Just after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of South Westnedge Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. They say the suspect entered the store and indicated a weapon. The suspect then stole an undetermined amount of money and property from the store and then fled on foot. A police K9 was called to the scene, but the suspect was not located.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â Two Kalamazoo residents were arrested after a concealed weapon and drugs were found in their car early Saturday morning.
It happened around 2:14 a.m. when Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers pulled over their vehicle on N. Park St.
Those officers noticed open intoxicants inside the vehicle, and when they searched further they found the firearm.
The 34-year-old driver was arrested for the open intoxicants and having a concealed weapon, while their 31-year-old passenger was arrested for having drugs.
Both were taken to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff Department Jail, while the Criminal Investigation Division investigates the incident.
