Caseville geared up for Ribstock Festival s this weekend

Following a one-year sabbatical due to the coronavirus pandemic, organizers are gearing up for the Caseville Chamber of Commerce s annual Ribstock Festival June 25-27. No one could have anything last year, chamber office manager Michelle Louwers said. There was nothing we could do.
This year s event features the usual blend of an amateur rib cook-off and a professional rib cook-off by vendors from around the community.
Louwers said to simplify the purchasing process from the professional vendors, attendees purchase $1 tokens on Saturday. Louwers said this allows the chamber to handle the cash transactions and lessen the burden on vendors, many of which are short handed due to employee shortages.
