COVENTRY — On June 18, in the back of a rescue truck as it sped toward Kent Hospital, Rhyder Yergeau-Barker took his first breaths. “Most of the time, when you get dispatched for a woman in labor, you have time to make it to the hospital,” Lt. Kenneth Marcotte, of the Central Coventry Fire District, said Wednesday morning, standing with Rosemarie Yergeau and Bryan Barker outside the vehicle where their son had been born 12 days prior.  For their “heroic and clear-headed actions” delivering Rhyder, Marcotte, Lt. Raymond Gervais and firefighters Gregory Francis and Joshua McAllister were each honored this week with a citation from the state House of Representatives.
