ISLAMABAD (APP) – Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar on hailed United State of America’s (USA’s) $ 4.2 billion support under Pakistan Enhanced Partnership Agreement (PEPA) since 2010.
The Minister for Economic Affairs lauded the US Government’s humanitarian support to Pakistan for fighting against COVID-19 pandemic, said a press release issued by Economic Affairs Division here.
Mission Director USAID in Islamabad Ms. Julie Koenan, held a virtual meeting with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar to discuss US-Pakistan bilateral economic cooperation.
Pak-American Business Council stresses enhanced partnership with US

Pak-American Business Council has stressed upon the importance of better business partnership with the USA for boosting mutual trade besides boosting regional economic ties with Central Asia through Afghanistan.
In this connection, the Founding Chairman of the Council, Iftikhar Ali Malik asked the private business sector of the USA to provide financial assistance to boost economic ties with Central Asian states via Afghanistan.
He said that Pakistan is working on the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor project for this purpose. He said that Pakistan is working on completion of foreign funded projects in different sectors, with an overall worth of around thirty billion dollars.
