The NBA season will resume tonight after a brief hiatus for the All-Star game. Apparently, most of the players went to Miami to celebrate. We probably would, too. The second half fo this year should be a good one with a handful of legitimate championship contenders already separating themselves from the pack and some preseason favorites needing to make up a lot of ground if they want to live up to expectations.
We here at The Big Lead like basketball and like pretending we are omniscient, so thus, without further ado, here are our boldest predictions for the second half of the 2020-21 NBA season.
Michael Irvin Thinks Dak Prescott is the Closest Thing to Tom Brady

Stephen A. Smith made the wise choice to have Michael Irvin as a guest on his ESPN+ show, knowing full well that the NFL analyst would do or say something worthy of great praise or derision. True to form, Irving delivered immediately and at great volume. The former playmaker came out of the gates hot on Dak Prescott and how the Dallas Cowboys now have the closest thing in the NFL to Tom Brady.

Piers Morgan continues to co-host
Good Morning Britain, presumably because the second-most reviled person in the country is unavailable. His persistent ability to get television gigs must be eternally frustrating for everyone involved but his ability to drive ratings and make headlines by doing something unexpected or untoward remains sharp.
Morgan is no fan of Meghan Markle and her recent jump back into the epicenter of news coverage provided him with ample opportunity to criticize her in the wake of the Oprah Winfrey interview. His co-host Alex Beresford had the temerity to point this out this morning and the critique proved too much for Morgan, who fled the set mid-segment.
