Today Show host, known for being a playful suited-up larrikin, has been immortalised into a charming little character rocking sensible brown shoes, a stripy tie and the presenter’s signature hairstyle.
Mr. Rascal’s mischief caught Karl by surprise when he was unveiled live on the
Today Show to shock the blindsided host.

The half century celebrations for the iconic Mr Men and Little Miss children’s books just keep on being rolled out, as Channel 4 commissions a new documentary to take a look into the rich 50 year history of the beloved brand.
Created in 1971 by Roger Hargreaves, prompted to answer the question posed by his then eight year old son ‘what does a tickle look like?’ the Mr Men Little Miss books have become some of the most culturally significant titles of all time, as a cast of characters to have changed the face of global publishing forever.
Channel 4 will take a dive into the history of Mr Men and Little Miss in a special feature presented by super fan, writer, actor, and comedian Matt Lucas as 50 Years of the Mr Men charts rise and rise of the colourful characters.
As two new characters are introduced
Matt Lucas is to present a new Channel 4 documentary looking back at 50 years of the Mr Men books.
The series of kids’ favourites originated in 1971 when eight-year-old Adam Hargreaves asked his father Roger: ‘Daddy, what does a tickle look like?’
Adam now writes and illustrates the books, including the Little Miss series launched in 1981, and ahead of the Channel 4 film he has created five prototype new characters for a public vote at mrmen.com.
The two most popular - out of Mr Calm, Little Miss Brave, Mr Brilliant, Little Miss Kind and Little Miss Energy will become the subjects of their own books in September.
