Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced Monday that Michael Pillarella, 26, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault by auto. Pillarella was initially charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain his lane.
At about 9:45 pm Saturday, Jan 30, Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to Radio Road and Baltusrol Court for a report of a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries.
Two Teens Critical After Being Hit By Another Car in LEH Crash
A car ride for frozen yogurt turned tragic for two girl friends in Little Egg Harbor when they were involved in a serious car crash Saturday night. The two friends were hit by another car which crossed the centerline and crashed in to their vehicle. Both girls were airlifted to the hospital where they are listed in critical condition.
According to Little Egg Harbor Township Police, about 9:45pm Saturday, a 2017 Hyundai Elantra driven by Michael Pillarella, 26, of Manahawkin, was traveling northbound on Radio Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, crossed over the centerline, and struck an oncoming 2006 Toyota XB travelling southbound on Radio Road.
Little Egg Harbor Township Woman Arrested on Drug Charges
A 37-year-old Little Egg Harbor Township woman has been arrested on drug charges.
Little Egg Harbor Township Police say they executed a court-ordered search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Falcon Drive last Thursday and found a quantity of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.

Police charged Kristina M. Listes, 37, with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police say they also arrested Antonio T. Clements, 35, of Little Egg Harbor on an outstanding warrant charge out of Ocean County Court.

TUCKERTON, NJ A manhunt is underway after a Tuckerton man was charged with attempted murder after shooting a man Tuesday night, the Ocean County Prosecutor s Office said Wednesday.
The manhunt for Donald Rutter, 51, of Tuckerton began after police responded to a report that an individual had been shot at Jarvis Marine on Radio Road at 7:30 p.m.
Officers found Thomas Jarvis, 55, of Little Egg Harbor, with an apparent gunshot wound in his midsection, the OCPO said. Jarvis was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he is currently in stable condition, according to the OCPO.
