Man shot, killed near 17th and Missouri avenues in Phoenix

PHOENIX â Phoenix police say a man is dead after a Sunday evening shooting near 17th and Missouri avenues.
Officers were called to an apartment complex in the area around 6:40 p.m. for the shooting.
A man, who has not yet been identified publicly, was found with gunshot wounds at the scene. The man died from his injuries.
Witnesses say men approached the victim before shots were fired
Police have not located the suspects and are looking for more information. Anyone who may be able to help the investigation is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

PHOENIX â Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Phoenix that occurred late Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the area of 22nd Avenue and Indian School Road around 10 p.m. for the shooting.
Two men and two women in a vehicle were reportedly approached by another man on foot. An argument started and during the incident, the suspect fired a weapon into the car.
Both men were killed and a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The second woman was not hurt.

PHOENIX â A 21-year-old woman is in custody after a deadly shooting in Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to investigate a shooting at an apartment complex near 19th and Peoria avenues around 1:30 p.m.
Officials found 24-year-old Dejahnique Jackson with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Amelleonna Russell, 21, was booked into jail on a manslaughter charge in connection with the deadly shooting.
Police did not immediately give information on what led to the shooting.

PHOENIX â Phoenix police are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed by a security guard at a business in Phoenix Saturday morning.
Officers say they responded to a shooting call at around 5:30 a.m. near Interstate 17 and Camelback Road. When they arrived, they located 21-year-old Maurice Jones with gunshot wounds.
Jones was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation revealed that Jones vehicle was blocking the business for several hours and security guards say he was uncooperative and got into a confontation with them.
