Imma Kill You : Police Stop Armed Man From Killing Girlfriend At The Last Second

April 07, 2021 3:37 PM ET Font Size: A 39-year-old Connecticut man was tased and arrested by police in the middle of a violent confrontation with his girlfriend in Florida, according to authorities. The day prior, the girlfriend called police, informing them of threatening text messages allegedly sent by her estranged boyfriend Aaron Thayer, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said. The messages included texts that read “I hope you die” and “Imma kill you,” according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Before Thayer was apprehended by law enforcement, authorities received a call from the girlfriend. The woman claimed Thayer was “armed with a tire iron,” attempting to break into her residence and kill her, according to the sheriff’s office. Thayer also had a loaded firearm on his person at the time, authorities added.

School Resource Deputy Christopher Alecrim wins national award

Flagler County Sheriff s Office The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office announced that School Resource Deputy Christopher Alecrim, was selected by the National Sheriff’s Association as Law Enforcement Explorer of the Year. This NSA committee appointed to judge the competition for this prestigious award selected Alecrim to be the 2021 recipient. Alecrim began his career with the FCSO in 2015 and transferred to the SRD Unit in 2018 and is currently stationed at the Flagler Palm Coast High School. Throughout his career with the FCSO, Alecrim has received multiple Unit Citations, Distinguished Service Certificates and Certificates of Appreciation for his service to the community. He is an active participant in the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches.
