EPOS H3 Gaming Headset Review – TheSixthAxis

The EPOS-ibilities are endless. 20/04/21 Just when you think you’ve got your gaming setup actually set up, along comes a manufacturer with a new headset to make you question whether the audio grass might sound greener elsewhere. When that manufacturer is EPOS – born of Sennheiser’s gaming department – then this could well be the emerald brick road you need to follow. The question remains though; does it lead to gaming audio Oz or an angry little man talking through a microphone? The H3 is the latest offering from EPOS; a 3.5mm wired, mid-range gaming headset that’s an evolution of the really rather good Sennheiser GSP 300, weighing in with an RRP of £109. It’s going up against some of the heaviest wired headset hitters out there, taking on the likes of HyperX, Logitech and Razer and hoping to come out on top. Fortunately, that Sennheiser legacy is clear to hear in the H3’s phenomenal audio output.

EP review: RedHook – Bad Decisions — Kerrang!

Genre-smashing Aussie rockers RedHook make some smart moves on debut EP… Words: James MacKinnon Don’t let the bright colours and sherbet-fizzy pop hooks fool you: beneath their effervescent charms, RedHook are all claws. Since forming in 2017, the Sydney trio’s singles have teased their ability to mesh rap rock, EDM and pop-punk with aggressive energy – an intoxicating mix that bubbles over on this debut EP. On Kamikaze they nimbly traverse some of the same cutting edges that Bring Me The Horizon have crossed in recent years, strapping a chainsawing riff to a rave-powered rocket with explosive results. Similarly, the title-track’s unapologetic tribute to questionable life choices seems tailor-made for kicking off a pit on the dancefloor. Emmy Mack’s voice drips with real venom as she flips from pop croon to spitting rapid-fire syllables, adding a sting in the tail. ‘

Attack Attack - Someday Came Suddenly +Album Reviews

Attack! Attack! Re-Release Date: 11/11/2008 Donovanonfire (1 out of 5 stars) As a fan of many genres, including my beloved post-hardcore (screamo to some) I listened to Attack Attack because I was told they were the worst abomination to come out of the ageing hardcore scene in a long while. I was intrigued at the potential awfullness, and upon finishing Someday Came Suddenly, I would have to agree; this is really, really bad. Calling Attack Attack s sound as music is a stretch. The entire album is one long, screaming breakdown mixed in with some boring techno, autotuned vocals, and cliched christian lyrics. I can t believe it takes 6 men to create this! No songs have any structure, or are intelligently written. But to be honest it had to come to this. So many bands are riding the post-hardcore scene wave and trying to cross genres by apeing it s sound and popularity that it was only a matter of time before a band like them would come around. Instead of progressing the post-har
