Bring Me The Horizon have beaten dance duo Bicep to this week’s UK Number One album.
The Sheffield metal titans released ‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’ back in October 2020, the first in a series of EPs to come as part of their ‘POST HUMAN’ project.
Now, the physical release of the record on vinyl, CD and cassette this week has ensured they secured the top spot in the UK albums chart, with 92 per cent of the record’s chart sales this week being physical purchases, according to the Official Charts Company.

Bring Me The Horizon julkaisi lokakuussa viimeisimmän, ”Post Human: Survival Horror” -nimisen EP:nsä, joka toimi myös ensimmäisenä osana ilmeisesti neljästä osasta koostuvalle ”Post Human” -sarjalle. Nyt yhtye on ilmoittanut jatkaneensa uuden musiikin kirjoittamista tulevia EP:itä varten. Bändin laulaja Oliver Sykes on kertonut NME:lle bändin tilanteesta sekä tulevista EP:istä seuraavaa:
“We’re just beginning really. We’re actually working on parts two, three and four simultaneously and working on ideas from all the records. There’s a good chance that we might release songs from each before we release the next record.

Originally released back in October, the Sheffield band’s release has rocketed back up the UK charts following its physical release on vinyl, CD and cassette on Friday (January 22).
The Official Charts Company revealed in their weekly chart update yesterday (January 25) that BMTH are currently battling the electronic duo Bicep for this week’s number one, with just 103 chart sales separating ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’ and the latter’s second album ‘Isles’.
