Police seize guns, cash in dawn raid at Coffs property

In total, NSW Police detectives seized $26,140 in cash, a .22 calibre rifle, a handgun, an M4 replica rifle and 10 replica pistols. In January this year, detectives from NSW Police Force and the Australian Federal Police - as part of the National Anti-Gangs Squad (NAGS) - received information relating to the unauthorised possession of firearms in Northern NSW.   NSW Police seized guns, replica pistols and cash from a property in Coffs Harbour on Friday February 12. Following extensive inquiries, NAGS investigators, with assistance from Strike Force Raptor, executed a search warrant at the home in Coffs Harbour on Friday.

Police chase stolen car: teen arrested after fleeing on foot

Premium Content Subscriber only An 18-year-old has been charged in relation to a police chase that had people talking on social media earlier in the week. Shortly after 7pm on Tuesday (February 2) Coffs Harbour Highway Patrol received a report that a 2003 Ford Falcon had been stolen. At about 8.45pm a vehicle matching the description was seen in Urunga and Police attempted to stop it. The driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated in Urunga. The car was pursued along the Pacific Highway then along Lyons Road through Sawtell. After almost 30km the chase ended in Toormina where the driver stopped the car and attempted to escape on foot.

Date Time Police charge man after domestic assault at Urunga A man is in a serious but stable condition and another man has been charged after a domestic assault on the state’s north coast. About 10am yesterday (Thursday 21 January 2021), emergency services were called to Vernon Crescent, Urunga, after reports a 47-year-old man had allegedly been assaulted by a man known to him. Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District attended where a crime scene was established and commenced an investigation. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man before he was taken to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
