The latest 103,000-dwt oil shuttle tanker was named Altera Wind in August last year. The vessels use LNG as their primary fuel and recovered volatile organic compounds as their secondary one. Each ship is also equipped with battery packs for flexible power distribution and blackout prevention.

The 170,000-cubic metre capacity Jawa Satu is to be deployed offshore West Java’s northern coast. The FSRU is owned by Jawa Satu Regas (JSR) a joint venture between Indonesia’s national oil company Pertamina and Japan s Marubeni and Sojitz. VesselsValue showed the vessel under way using its own engine and scheduled to arrive on 15 January first at Badak NGL’s Bontang liquefied natural gas facility in East Kalimantan.
