As much as 95 per cent of 1.1 crore Covishield vaccine doses purchased by the Indian government have been been delivered across the country a day after transportation of the vaccine began, sources said on Wednesday.
A SpiceJet flight carrying the vaccines left for the national capital around 8 am, three hours after three trucks with the maiden consignment of the vaccines rolled out of the Serum Institute of India facility, 15 km from the airport.

States and Union Territories across the country are conducting a dry run of the coronavirus vaccination process today. It is being held in 116 districts across 259 sites, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
