Brian Lee, 39, of Marengo, a village in Morrow County about 38 miles north of Columbus off Interstate 71, was being sought by the county sheriff s office there in connection with a double homicide and the shootings of two others at about 4:25 a.m. in Harmony Township, according to the sheriff s office Facebook page.

The location where the car was found a parking lot on the 1500 block of Smith Road is less than a mile from the Marion Square apartments where 23-year-old Tymar Whitsett was reported last seen on March 13. Homicide detectives could not say whether there is any connection between the body found Tuesday night and Whitsett s case until the Franklin County Coroner s office completes an identification and autopsy.

Jones on March 3, 2021. Columbus police homicide detectives have identified the victims of two homicides, and have arrested a suspect in one of them that occurred late Wednesday night.  Ronald Lamar Jones, 34, of the West Side, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and unresponsive late Wednesday night by officers responding to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of North Oakley Avenue on the West Side, detectives said.
