Official story of assassination in Haiti begins to unravel
Glaring inconsistencies in the official narrative of the assassination of Haiti’s President, Jovenel Moise, are fueling suspicions that powerful figures within the impoverished country’s corrupt ruling elite were involved in the July 7 murder. As evidence grows linking far-right figures with ties to the former Duvalier dictatorship to the crime, US imperialism is intensifying its intervention with the aim of covering up what happened so as to bring about an accommodation between the warring factions within the Haitian elite.

BOGOTA, July 16 (Reuters) - Former Haitian justice ministry official Joseph Felix Badio may have ordered the assassination of Haiti s President Jovenel Moise, a Colombian police chief said on Friday, citing a preliminary investigation into the murder.
Moise was shot dead when assassins armed with assault rifles stormed his private residence in the hills above Port-au-Prince on July 7.
An investigation by Haitian and Colombian authorities, alongside Interpol, into Moise s killing has revealed that Badio appeared to have given an order for the assassination three days before the attack, General Jorge Vargas said in an audio message sent to news outlets by the police.
