STUYVESANT - A Columbia County woman is accused of fatally stabbing a man during a domestic dispute Friday.
State Police in Livingston Saturday said they charged Diana L. Huyck, 52, of Stuyvesant with the second-degree murder of John K. Ford of Austerlitz.
Just after 6 p.m. Friday troopers responded to the reported stabbing on Dolly Drive in the town of Stuyvesant. There they found Ford, 50, wounded and tried life-saving-techniques. Police said Ford succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel who had responded.
The preliminary investigation indicates that during a domestic dispute Huyck stabbed Ford, troopers said.
