UPDATE (4/14, 6:15 p.m. ET): The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) held an emergency meeting today to discuss the safety concerns associated with the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine. While the meeting didn’t end with recommendations for a specific course of action other than continuing the pause to allow for more time to look into the side effect a representative from Johnson & Johnson presented updated safety information.
