Big changes coming to vaccination process in Pueblo, what you need to know.
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) On Friday, Pueblo County Health officials announced the city s COVID-19 vaccination clinic located at the Pueblo Mall would be changing its location.
Starting Monday, the clinic would move to the Colorado State Fairgrounds as Centura Health and COVID Check Colorado would take over vaccination operations. This is an incredible development for Pueblo, said Pueblo County Health Director Randy Evetts. It will expand the amount of vaccines that can be given in a day.
Currently at the Pueblo Mall clinic, Pueblo Health officials administer around 1,500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine every day. With the state taking over the operation, Evetts says they ll eventually be able to provide around 6,000 doses.
