Garry Mulcahy sent a video of a “waterfall” flowing through the living room ceiling to his landlord pretending that he was in Ireland and a friend was staying at the property. Mulcahy, 34, admitted criminal damage at the address in Derby Street, Clayton, Bradford, on September 2 last year. While on bail, he burgled his former partner at night, drove off in her car and sent her a photo of himself naked except for a hat and glasses he had stolen when he took her bag.

. A speeding driver jumped four red lights before ignoring a fifth and crashing into another vehicle on Manchester Road, Bradford Crown Court heard today. Dawood Rana’s silver Mercedes struck a white BMW at the junction with Mill Lane shortly after midnight on November 14, 2019. The two men in the BMW needed hospital treatment after the smash which left both cars extensively damaged, prosecutor Samreen Akhtar said. Rana, 36, of Croft Gardens, Birkby, Huddersfield, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving after CCTV footage showed him speeding across the city and running four red lights before the crash. He was jumping a fifth when he collided with the BMW.

Two Tarot card readers were threatened at knifepoint in their home after they were accused of fleecing a woman out of large sums of money for fraudulent spiritual readings, Bradford Crown Court heard today. An unidentified man brandished a flick knife when troubled flared at the Bradford house, prosecutor Ayesha Smart said. Before the court were Naser Riaz, 43, and his son, Mohammed Daniaal, 20, both of Jesmond Avenue, Heaton, Bradford, who pleaded guilty to affray on September 1, 2018. Miss Smart said Riaz and his unnamed accomplice were angry with the male victims who were paid for Tarot card readings, scriptural interpretations and astrology forecasts.

Daryl Wainwright was made the subject of a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order in January last year following a 29 month jail sentence for two offences of sexual assault on a girl under 13. He was on licence when the police went to his home in Bradford Road, Brighouse, on November 26 this year and caught him with illegal images of children. Wainwright, 29, pleaded guilty to possession of two Category A indecent moving images and breach of the Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) by installing a device on his tablet that masked his internet browsing history.
