A letter from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has stated that there is increased confidence that the easing restrictions in June remains low to medium risk. On Tuesday hotels and B&Bs welcomed back guests while from Monday, June 7, restaurants, pubs, and cafes can open for outdoor dining. However, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, warns that NPHET can give ‘no assurance’ about COVID infection levels in the coming weeks.
