15 JMB terrorists entered India, moved to Kashmir & other states: official
Kolkata, Jul 12 (PTI) At least 15 neo Jamaat-ul- Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) operatives have entered West Bengal from the neighbouring country earlier this year and 10 of them moved to various parts of India including Jammu and Kashmir, an officer of Kolkata Police s Special Task Force (STF) said on Monday. The remaining five had stayed back in West Bengal and three of them, who are Bangladeshi nationals, were arrested from south Kolkata s Haridevpur area on Sunday, the officer said. It was revealed during interrogation of the three persons that 10 suspected JMB operatives have gone to Odisha, Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir, the IPS officer said.

The Kolkata Police s Special Task Force (STF) nabbed three terrorists linked to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from south Kolkata s Haridevpur area on Sunday afternoon. The three suspected JMB terrorists were living in a rented accommodation for a few months in the middle-class locality, raising concern among the locals. They were nabbed following a tip-off, a senior police officer said.
The Kolkata Police STF have found Jihadi literature from their possession and their Facebook accounts have been analysed. V Solomon Nesakumar, joint CP of Kolkata Police STF revealed that the terrorists were using their social media accounts for radicalising Muslims and fuelling terrorist activities in India.

The three suspected Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorists, who were arrested from south Kolkata s Haridebpur area yesterday, are from Bangladesh s Gopalganj district, say police.
The three men identified as Naziur Rahman Pavel (30), Mikhail Khan (30), and Rabiul Islam (22) were arrested by Kolkata Police s Special Task Force (STF), reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting STF Joint Commissioner V Solomon Nesakumar.
Police are trying to find out if the three men had plans to carry out a terror attack in Kolkata, he told a press conference in the city yesterday afternoon.
The suspects were staying in an apartment at Haridebpur which they had rented using forged documents, Nesakumar said.
