As a sailor, based in New York City, I dream of Manitoulin, simply walking on the docks in Little Current and Gore Bay, and sailing, with friends, around Manitoulin’s North Shore, as I’ve been lucky to do for many summers.

And, oh boy, I say, those with sailboats and powerboats plying the North Channel of Manitoulin and the local waters beyond, to me, each summer, have it all.
With so many other boaters, each summer, now for 18 years, from everywhere on the boating waters surrounding Manitoulin Island, we all appreciate the vivacity, smarts and charm of Roy Eaton, who is in the midst of hosting another season of the famed Cruisers Net.
