ETNA GREEN, Ind. A man is dead after a fire broke out at a mobile home park in Kosciusko County on Sunday night.
At 11:11 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a mobile home fire in Etna Green.
Neighbors reportedly observed the fire and attempted to make contact with any potential occupants.
Once firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and perform an interior search of the home, they found the deceased body of Arthur J. Peterson.
He was 42.
This incident remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and the Indiana State Fire Marshal.

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – One person was killed in a mobile home fire late Sunday night, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 11:11 p.m. Sunday night, emergency personnel were dispatched to a mobile home park in Etna Green for reports of a fire.
Neighbors apparently saw the fire and tried to contact whoever may have been inside.
Once firefighters extinguished the flames and did a search of the residence, they located the body of a 42-year-old Etna Green man, reports said.
This incident remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and the Indiana State Fire Marshal.

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. A woman was killed in a crash on CR 700 S in Seward Township late Tuesday evening, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff s Office.
Just before 11 p.m., the sheriff s office, fire, and EMS responded to a single vehicle crash on CR 700 S just east of CR 600 W.
Deputies say 30-year-old Amber Meyer was traveling eastbound when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Meyer was pronounced deceased at the scene.
