• May 13, 2021 Vaccines For Younger Age Group Get The Green Light In AZ The Arizona Department of Health Services will offer doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to children between 12 and 15 years old starting today.    The announcement comes after the Food and Drug Administration, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, authorized the vaccine’s use for the youngest age demographic yet. Ashley Martin arrested in killing of Travis Nelson in Flagstaff

View Comments A Flagstaff woman was arrested on suspicion of killing a man after she turned herself in at a Walmart early Thursday morning, police say. Around 2 a.m., the Flagstaff Police Department received a call from the Walmart near Woodlands Village and Beulah boulevards. According to Sgt. Odis Brockman, a department spokesman, 36-year-old Ashley Martin had entered the store and asked employees to call the police.  When police arrived, Martin told officers she shot someone before leading police to a nearby trail where the she left the body of 41-year-old Travis Nelson.  Martin told police that she and Nelson had been in a fight that ended with Martin fatally shooting Nelson, Brockman said.
