May 24, 2021 COCA-COLA Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI), the bottling arm of Coca-Cola in the country, has achieved another sustainability milestone in Q1 of 2021 upon completing the installation of almost 14,000 solar panels in its Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental and Bacolod plants.
A multi-phased solar panel project is underway that covers four more sites namely, Canlubang, Sta. Rosa, Zamboanga, and Cebu, with 2022 as a target deadline. With this, CCBPI is pursuing a 24,000-solar panel project, with the total capacity to produce a maximum of 9.4MW. More projects are in the pipeline two plants in North Luzon and the Visayas are being assessed for renewable energy integration.

Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) the bottling arm of Coca-Cola in the country and the Municipality of Basco, Batanes held a fitting commemoration of Earth Day on April 22 by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the collection and recycling of PET bottles.
Batanes is considered a prime tourism destination and is part of the tentative list for inscription in the UNESCO-World Heritage List which the Philippine government has been pursuing through the establishment of art and conservation projects within the island province.
Due to various factors, such as the need for a more robust waste management system, the Batanes capital Basco faces a critical issue over its waste disposal processes.

Philippine National Bank, one of the country’s major banks, is ranked as the best company for professionals to growth their careers, according to the Linkedin’s 2021 Philippines Top Companies List.
LinkedIn, the online professional network, published its list of the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies in the Philippines for the first time, identifying the best places for professionals to grow their careers.
The four other companies in the top five are Smart Communications (#2), Manila Water (#3), Philip Morris International (#4), and EY (#5).
The rest of the list is dominated by companies whose products and services helped make people’s lives better during the pandemic from financial services, food and beverage to telecommunications sectors. Completing the top 15 are Land Bank of the Philippines, Manulife Philippines, Metrobank, Accenture, Nestle, Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Macquarie Group, NCR Corporation, BDO Unibank, and IQVIA.
