A circular economy, which is gaining attention worldwide, is a new way of creating value, and ultimately prosperity, through extending product lifespan and relocating the waste from the end of the supply chain to the beginning - in effect, using resources more efficiently by using them more than once. Through this, Kochi Metro is planning to reduce the cost of building construction also.

It resulted in ridership increasing by 30% and the average number of daily commuters increase to 1.30 lakh. German Ambassador Walter J. Lindner expressed his happiness on the progress made by KMRL in the Water Metro project. Even amidst the COVID and monsoon KMRL has managed quite a lot of progress. I can t wait to come back in two months for the inauguration. KMRL is an excellent partner. We are glad that we are witnessing results.
