CASPER, Wyo. A “Barn Here” photo exhibit featuring unique Wyoming barns will be on display at Fort Caspar Museum from April 15 through June 27.
“Barn Here” is a traveling exhibit arranged by the Wyoming State Museum. Fort Caspar said on Tuesday that visitors will get to learn about how Wyoming barns are different from those built in other parts of the country.
“Wyoming barns differ greatly in style and function from barns in many other parts of the United States,” the museum said. “Climate, available building materials, ethnic traditions, and many other factors influence how they are constructed. Beautiful black-and-white photographs from the State Historic Preservation Office depict barns from throughout Wyoming.”
