MLB All Star Alex Rodriguez, Recording Artist Ciara, and WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil among honorees in virtual ceremony
ATLANTA – [May 5, 2021– Boys & Girls Clubs of America will induct six new Club alumni into their Alumni Hall of Fame tonight during the youth advocacy organization’s virtual 115th Annual Conference. The ceremony will honor six Boys & Girls Club Alumni, who have made major contributions in their fields, including sports, government, and music.
Fisk University has named Dr. John D. Jones as both provost and vice president for academic affairs, effective June 1.
Jones, who brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education, currently serves as associate vice president for academic affairs and as dean of graduate studies at Alabama A&M University, according to a release. He previously worked as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Lincoln University Missouri and as associate vice chancellor of academic affairs at Keiser University. Jones has held similar positions at Mississippi Valley State University and at Fort Valley State University.
It is unclear whom Jones replaces.

WWE s Titus O’Neil, just a month after being named the WWE Hall of Fame Warrior Award recipeint, was announced as an inductee into the 2021 Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame class.
