A little let-up in this morning s nightmare for travelers and commuters in Broward County.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is slowly reopening as are surrounding roadways after a bomb threat was phoned in.
While the investigation continues, airport officials say operations are slowly returning to normal.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was closed while police investigated a suspicious package.
The package was found outside of Terminal 2 and 3 just before 2 a.m.
Employees of the airport are being allowed in with their ID s, but travelers are advised to check their flight status before arriving as delays are expected.

The all-clear has been given at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
This after Broward Sheriff s deputies closed the airport down this morning, after as we are learning now, “suspicious wires found in a vehicle parked on the upper level of the airport.”
