Man killed his father before fleeing to nearby McDonald s, Fort Bend County Sheriff says Doug Delony

The man who allegedly shot and killed his father inside a home in the Richmond area early Thursday morning is now in jail and facing a murder charge.
The suspect shot his father with a .22 rifle and then fled the scene, investigators believe. Deputies immediately put out a description of the man, and a wrecker driver later spotted him at a nearby McDonald’s on Grand Parkway.
The suspect was apprehended without further incident, and the weapon used was located in a neighbor s yard after the man allegedly threw it over a fence.
Six adults and four children were taken to area hospitals after the crash in Fort Bend County.

FRESNO, Texas Ten people were taken to the hospital after a major accident in Fresno Friday afternoon.
Four adults and four children in one vehicle and two adults in the other were hurt in the two-vehicle crash, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff s Office.
We don t know the extent of their injuries.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Kansas and Pecan.
The streets were shut down for more than an hour until the scene was cleared.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Fresno. Officials said at least 10 people were injured.
The crash was reported after 3 p.m. near Kansas and Pecan streets. Officials said the intersection closed for a few hours while they investigate the incident.
Officials said four adults and four minors in an SUV were transported to the hospital. The two adults in the other vehicle involved were also taken to the hospital.
It is unclear the extent of the injuries.
