FBCSO: Man shot mother-in-law multiple times after mistaking her for an intruder

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas A woman was transported by Life Flight after deputies say her son-in-law mistook her for a burglar and shot her when she tried to enter her daughter’s home.
This happened around 3:30 a.m. on Oakland Manor in the Mission Bend area of Fort Bend County.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said the 43-year-old woman had been out drinking when she decided to go over to her daughter’s house.

Fort Bend County authorities have arrested a man suspected of stabbing an acquaintance at a memorial service in Rosharon earlier this week.
The Fort Bend County Sheriffâs Office said 44-year-old Darnell Williams has been charged with aggravated assault in connection to the incident. The victim was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, according to the FBCSO.
Authorities said officers responded to a stabbing call in the 8700 block of Early Morning Way in Rosharon around 5 a.m. Tuesday to find the victim on the ground with multiple stab wounds.
According to police, Williams and the victim were acquaintances who allegedly got into an altercation during a memorial service at the home, during which Williams allegedly stabbed the victim.
The man seen with a Tiger in a west Houston neighborhood is expected to be released from jail Monday after a judge revoked the bond in a 2017 murder case.
