May 7 and 8 marked the comeback of the Steel Horse Rally after a year off because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the exception of 2020, the rally has drawn thousands to Fort Smith every year since 2015. It has been special to see his dream become a reality, Karen Snow said about her husband Dennis, who founded the Steel Horse Rally.
According to information from the rally, the event brings in more visitors and tax dollars to the region than any other annual local event.
Motorcyle Memories exhibit coincides with Steel Horse Rally

To coincide with the 2021 Steel Horse Rally, the Fort Smith Museum of History will display “Motorcycle Memories,” an exhibition designed to explore the motorcycle culture of our local and regional areas. The exhibit will be in place through May 31 at the Fort Smith Museum of History, 320 Rogers Ave.
The exhibition, which was first presented in 2008, features vintage motorcycles and photographs exploring the “art of the motorcycle” in Fort Smith and the region from the 1940s through the present day. Fort Smith has a historical association with motorcycle culture. Learn about the people and places that put the region on the map for motorcyclists.
