FORT SMITH, Ark. The Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) is looking for a teenage girl who missing on May 14.
Felicia Dawn Jones was last seen walking down Kelley Hwy. toward Midland Blvd.
She is described as a 5’1 white female with brown hair weighing 110 pounds. She may be wearing glasses.
If you have any information regarding Felicia’s whereabouts, please contact the FSPD at (479) 709-5100.
The wreath and flowers were placed carefully outside Lois Hicks apartment.
Hicks, 87, had lived at the complex for a long time. She was always friendly; always had a smile on her face.
“She was like an angel. She was a real sweet lady, her neighbor Ron Gatling said.
Gatling added that Hicks was a good neighbor.
“She’s going to be missed, Gatling said.
Police said Zachary Arnold, 26, shot Hicks in her home Saturday morning in an apartment complex in the 3500 block of South 74th Street. Arnold also lived at the apartment complex.
Arnold was armed with a semi-automatic rifle and after he shot Hicks, police said he continued to shoot at neighboring apartments.

FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) â An Arkansas man who authorities say fatally shot an 87-year-old neighbor was trying to lure residents of his apartment complex outside before someone shot and killed him, according to witnesses.

FORT SMITH, Ark. Fort Smith Police are investigating a shooting that took place at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of S. 74th St this morning (May 15). Police responded to the gunshots call at around 7:23 a.m.
Police are on the scene and say there have been two bodies found. One body was found inside the apartment and one outside. A resident at the apartment complex was able to stop the shooting while it was going on.

A Kimmons Jr. High Student was arrested today (May 14) for battery after an altercation involving scissors.
According to Fort Smith Police, two Kimmons Jr. High students got into an altercation earlier today.
Police said one of the students had a pair of scissors during the altercation and the other received a cut to the arm that required stitches.
The student with the scissors was arrested by police on a second-degree battery charge.
