Emergency crews responded to multiple roll-over accidents in Richland and Stonycreek townships Saturday that temporarily closed roadways and slowed traffic.
The first incident occurred just before 2 p.m. along the 400 block of Eisenhower Boulevard and involved one vehicle, according to Cambria County 911.
One individual connected to that accident was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Riverside and Upper Yoder volunteer fire companies responded along with Riverside and East Hills EMS, and Stonycreek police.
The second roll-over took place on Route 219 between the Elton Road and Route 56 exits around 2:35 p.m.
Rt 30 Shooting
Officials say they’re looking for individuals involved in an overnight shooting in Somerset County.
Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas said one male was found with gunshot wounds Thursday morning around midnight along Route 30 near Boswell and was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
“The last I had heard, they were in critical condition,” Thomas said. “But I don’t know their current status. One individual is in custody and we’re currently searching for at least two other individuals. So, the investigation is ongoing.”
Thomas says anybody with information should contact state police at 814-445-4104.

Pa. hospital brings in refrigerated trailer to serve as temporary morgue as needed
Updated Dec 30, 2020;
A temporary morgue set up recently at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown is not yet being used, but the officials in charge of Cambria County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic will begin using it if they run out of room to store bodies elsewhere, Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees said Tuesday.
Lees shared some information about the refrigerated trailer unit during a press conference at his office in downtown Johnstown with Art Martynuska, Cambria County Emergency Management Agency coordinator, and Storm Nagle, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center pre-hospital operations manager and emergency preparedness coordinator.
