For a long time if you were a gamer in the US and you had a Wii you could only get white controllers and consoles. The color options are a bit better today with a black console available and you can get official controllers in blue or pink colors as well as aftermarket controllers with different colors. A new controller is up for pre-order at Toys R Us for the Wii that is the coolest one I have ever seen.
The controller is the Lego Play and Build Remote for the Nintendo Wii. The controller is multi-colored like most of the Lego bricks we are all used to seeing. The thing is a fully licensed controller and is compatible with most charging docks when used with the standard battery door and it ships with a second battery door that you can actually use your own Lego blocks to build a holder for.

One thing that Zune software has never done since its initial availability in 2006 is play nice with Macs. With Windows Phone 7 on the horizon, this may be about to change. Oded Ran, an executive at Microsoft, tweeted today that Zune software will be made available for Mac users to sync with WP7.
The tweet has since been removed, but it shows some progress towards the Zune and Windows Phone 7 devices being Apple-friendly. This makes a lot of sense; there s no reason to alienate a chunk of your potential user base when you re trying to elbow your way back into the smartphone market.

When it comes to memory for your computer or AIO it s often cheaper to buy the machine from the maker with the minimum memory inside and then purchase the RAM you want and put it inside the machine once you get it. Many Mac fans out there do this with MacBook notebooks and the iMac AIO computer. Patriot has announced an expansion to its line of memory for the iMac.
Patriot now has some new SODIMM RAM that has been qualified for use inside the iMac AIO machines. The RAM is part of the Patriot Signature line and will be offered in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB kits. The 2GB kits have a single 2GB NAND, the 4GB kit includes a pair of 2GB modules, and the 8GB kits have dual 4GB modules. Patriot will offer two different kits for users to choose from.

Telstra is really stretching out lately - another news bit, that they are upgrading their online bill payment facilities after research showed online payment as the preferred method of customers paying their phone bills.
Telstra s research was the result of Pure Profile s August 2010 sample of 1250 Australian s aged over 18, from both regional and metropolitan areas. Karen Ganschow, executive director of relationship marketing and online, said that the research they had showed 85 percent of Australian s preferred simple transactions on their PC or mobile phone, rather than in person or on the phone.
She added, The average Australian has entered a new age of embracing online in their day to day lives. More than a third of us go online daily to perform simple transactions - such as paying bills or checking account information - with 10 per cent using the net up to four times a day to perform these tasks.
