Ex-Michigan governor to be charged in Flint water probe: report Tim Balk
Rick Snyder, the former governor of Michigan, has been told he will be charged in connection with the Flint water crisis, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
Snyder, a 62-year-old Republican, was leading the state when Flint first grappled with contaminated water flowing from taps in the majority Black city.
A local outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease that killed a dozen people was attributed to the water scandal.
The AP, citing anonymous sources, reported that the Michigan attorney general’s office told defense lawyers about indictments and that court appearances were upcoming.
