CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Police Department will be holding two promotional ceremonies Friday.
Both ceremonies will be streamed live on the Cincinnati Police Department Facebook page.
The first one will start at 10:30 a.m.
Police Chief Eliot Isaac will administer the oath of office to the following new sergeants: Lucas Neville, Matthew Ventre, and Steven Mittermeier.
The second promotional ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Chief Isaac will administer the oath of office to the following new captains: David Johnston, Adam Hennie, Stephen Saunders and Ryan Hudson.

A new Spectrum store is open at the Rookwood Commons & Pavilion and another one will open in Colerain Township this summer.
The Rookwood store at 2692 Madison Road in Norwood is one of eight new stores that Spectrum has opened in the Greater Cincinnati area over the past two years, according to a company news release.
The Colerain Township store will be at 3668 Springdale Road.
Spectrum stores are operated by Charter Communications, Inc., a telecommunications and mass media company based in Stamford, Connecticut, with locations in 41 states.
The stores offer internet, cable television and mobile phone devices and services for residential and business customers.

CINCINNATI â The government has just confirmed what shoppers have said the last five months: consumer inflation is up sharply this year.

Adena Regional Medical Center named five-star hospital by CMS
CHILLICOTHE – Adena Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has received the highest overall hospital rating, five-star, given by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The overall hospital rating is based on data publicly reported on CMS’ consumer-oriented website Hospital Compare. ARMC is among just 35 of Ohio’s 134 rated hospitals to receive a five-star rating.
Hospital Compare provides information on how well hospitals provide recommended care to their patients, becoming one tool consumers can use to compare performance measures from multiple hospitals.

COLUMBUS The U.S. Treasury Department on Monday said Ohio will receive nearly $5.4 billion in aid as part of Democratic President Joe Biden’s larger $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package, with nearly $6.6 billion more going directly to counties, cities and three of Ohio’s 1,308 townships. It isn’t clear if the rest of Ohio’s townships will receive any funds, according to a news release from the Ohio Townships Association.
Thirty-seven Ohio municipalities and all 88 counties will receive the payments, part of the $350 billion program created under the American Rescue Plan to help state and local governments and boost the U.S. national economy that’s been hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
