The ASDMA has issued the directive for both rural and urban areas which will remain in force from 5 am of Tuesday until further orders. GUWAHATI: The Assam government on Monday declared total containment in five districts of the state and imposed restrictions on observing Eid-Al-Adha in mosques and public places. The new SOP published by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) stated that Eid has to be observed from homes whereas namaaz at mosques has been allowed with maximum five people, including the religious head. On the other hand, round-the-clock curfew has been imposed in Golaghat, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur and Biswanath districts.
