Two vehicle collision injures three on U.S. 36

COSHOCTON - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision late Friday evening in Lafayette Township.
The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office said the incident occurred about 11:28 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. 36 and Ohio 93. Deputies determined that a 2016 Honda Civic driven by Spencer Andrews, 22, of Uhrichsville, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 36 when he failed to stop for a red light. He then struck a 2010 Subaru SUV driven by Erica Charles, 24, of Gambier.
Charles and a young child in her vehicle were transported by Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services to Coshocton Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the sheriff s office said. Brandon Abel, a passenger in the Subaru, was transported to the medical center by private party.

COSHOCTON - The City of Coshocton has announced closures for roadwork from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday on South Sixth Street from Elm to Orange streets and Hickory Street from Orange to South Sixth streets. Local traffic will still be able to access MFM and Wiley Organics.
No injuries in County Road 9 crash
COSHOCTON - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash late Monday morning on County Road 9.
The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office said the incident occurred at approximately 10:43 a.m. Monday in the 59000 block of County Road 9.

COSHOCTON A man was found dead in a house fire from early Sunday morning.
The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office reported receiving an emergency call at 4:20 a.m. about a house fire in the 20000 block of County Road 18. Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find the structure fully involved.
It was reported that a male lived in the house by himself. After putting out the fire, authorities found a man dead inside the home. The name of the individual had not been released as of early Sunday afternoon pending notification of next-of- kin.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the state fire marshal s office. Assisting on scene were Bladenesburg, Walhonding Valley and Jackson Township fire departments, Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Coshocton County Coroner s Office and the Salvation Army.
