Lincoln Land Community College print kicker
Reading can transport us to somewhere unfamiliar, allow us to see through someone else’s eyes, expand our awareness, challenge our perspectives, and encourage us to try something we hadn’t thought of before. The Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) at Lincoln Land Community College is committed to continuous growth and learning, which is why we have worked over the past several months to coordinate a community reading project to help us individually learn from a single book and to bring us all together through partnerships and dialogue among diverse people and organizations.
Aaron Pearl-Cropp of Springfield admitted the odds of him finding a pennant commemorating the 1963 March on Washington, where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his I Have A Dream speech, were very rare.
Pearl-Cropp, 52, a City of Springfield Public Works employee and a collector of civil rights memorabilia, said he had only seen the pennant twice, both times in museum settings, and an auction house he works with told him that it was a piece that rarely came up for sale.
But a chance conversation with a worker painting his house last summer eventually led to Pearl-Cropp landing the prize.

Robert and Kathryn Harris relocated their family to Chilliwack from England in 2016 for professional reasons and quickly realized they had landed in an adventurer’s paradise. The family immediately incorporated a wide range of outdoor activities into their lifestyles, with hiking being one of their year-round choices.
“Sunday is usually our hiking day because it beats sitting on a treadmill in a gym. We can go on different hikes every time for months on end and never have to repeat. I think once people get out, they’ll be surprised by the experience; with the easy access to nature and the possibility of seeing wildlife, it’s better than a drug,” Rob Harris said.

No, this isn t the Dinner Party episode from The Office - this really happened and she really needs to know how she can kindly ask him to take them down and put them in the trash.
Simon gives her some good thoughtful advice - how would you handle a clash in decor style of this magnitude?
