Discussing next week s exit plot, Shona McGarty – who plays Whitney – said recently: Whitney is pretty confident [in the plan] and she has full confidence in Kush, no matter what they are planning. With Kush by her side she believes anything s possible. She just sees Kush as her knight in shining armour, and no harm can come to her when he s around. She s looking forward to it.
Speaking about how she felt filming Kush s exit, Shona added: It was a strange day. Obviously we ve been close and he s been on the Square for a long time so we re all really good friends.

When she tells Billy what s happened, he fumes, determined to give Amy s father Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) a piece of his mind. But Honey insists that he calm down first and focus on whether Janet is okay.

EastEnders star Shona McGarty has teased whether there will be a happy ending for her character Whitney Dean and partner Kush Kazemi.
Fans obviously know that Kush, played by Davood Ghadami, is leaving the BBC soap soon.
Details surrounding his exit are yet to be fully confirmed, with it heavily teased he could be sent to prison over a recent dodgy deal with the Mitchells.
But could Whitney be making a surprise and unannounced exit from the soap too, as she vows to stand by her man?
