An already convicted felon found himself in further trouble with law enforcement when investigators between two different agencies went to search a home in Vanceboro.
On Thursday, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau along with the North Carolina Department of Probation & Parole joined forces to perform a probation search at a home on B&R Drive in Vanceboro, according to a news release from the CCSO.
During the search, investigators found trafficking amounts of heroin, trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, a large quantity of cocaine, marijuana and a firearm.
As a result, Jeffrey Maurice Edwards, 34, was arrested and charged with felony trafficking heroin, felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent manufacture sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent manufacture sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession firearm by convicted felon, possession of marijuan
